Philippine Prudential President and CEO Gregorio D. Mercado has once again been inducted as the President of the Philippine Life Insurance Association (PLIA) for the year 2016. Before this year, Mr. Mercado also held the presidential post in 2008 and 2012 making this year his third time as president, since becoming an active member of PLIA in 1999. He also served as a Director of the association in 2013 and a Vice President in 2011.
The induction was held during the Insurance Commission of the Philippine’s (IC) 67th Founding Anniversary held in U.N. Avenue in Manila. The new set of officers were sworn into position by no less than the Insurance Commissioner himself, Atty. Emmanuel F. Dooc.
